A cruise ship evacuated Montreal
Some 17 passengers from Montreal en route to Toronto cruise ship were injured when the ship hit the wall of a lock on Thursday night.

These would be minor injuries.

The accident occurred around 21 pm at the Eisenhower Lock Seaway St. Lawrence in Massena, New York, near Cornwall.

The boat, called The Saint Laurent, which was carrying 274 passengers on that point was evacuated and had to remain in the lock until it could be towed, said the US Coast Guard.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
