The company already provides Gulf South America routes to Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires.Today, longer flights are those connecting Dallas to Sydney (16 hours 55 minutes), Johannesburg in Atlanta (16 hours 40 minutes) and Dubai to Los Angeles (16 hours 35 minutes).
The longest flight was held by the company Singapore Airlines on the route Singapore-New York (18 hours 50 minutes). But this link had been arrested in 2013 for reasons of profitability.
The Boeing 777-200-LR will accommodate 266 travelers in three classes. This aircraft model had made the longest journey in 2005 with 21,601 kilometers traveled, linking Hong Kong to London.
