Hotels: The Importance of stars

Hotels stars
A study published Tuesday, September 29 morning shows that the global hotel market recorded an increase in attendance in the first half. But all the facilities are not housed in the same boat. It is from the third star that hotels are doing better.

Hotels: The Importance of stars

we are going to meet a couple of hoteliers who got the third star last April. Four months later, the summer season was good and the hotel sold out almost every weekend. For customers, the number of stars remains an important choice criterion.

More affluent customers

"When I stay somewhere a long time, I prefer to choose a hotel that has at least three stars," said a foreign tourist.
Bedding and room size are criteria to go upmarket.
With three stars, the couple was able to increase its rates an average of 8 euros per room. This has attracted many customers a little easier, no doubt attracted by the stars.
In France, the three-star hotels represent 44% of hotel stock.
