More than 100 million Chinese have foreign tourism in 2014

The sharp increase in the number of Chinese tourists going abroad is particularly explained, according to the director of the academy, Dai Bin, quoted by New China, a more flexible visa policy in the countries of destination.


Approximately 107 million Chinese have made a tourist trip abroad in 2014, an increase of nearly 20% over the previous year, according to a report cited Friday by the official news agency Xinhua.
Chinese tourists have also spent in 2014 more than 146 billion euros, four times more than in 2008, according to the report of the China Tourism Academy, a research group that depends on the National Board Tourism China.
